Unmatched aroma and health benefits
The Thai melon, or cantaloupe, is one of the best-known varieties of melon in the world. It is also referred to as a “muskmelon” because of its unbelievably pleasant aroma.
It was introduced to Europe in the 15th century as a gift for the Pope. He was so fond of it that they started to cultivate it.
The cantaloupe takes its name from the county of Cantalupo in Sabina, not far from Rome.
It is high in ascorbic acid and is the leader in beta-carotene concentrations, which helps boost immunity and improves eyesight.
